A crushed stone path, dill and lilac, this woodland garden in Hamilton is an example of small-scale stormwater design.

Located next to a downspout, the path is constructed to absorb and hold water during a significant storm event. Once water has percolated into the path, it is directed into the woodland garden, creating micro climate conditions that support lowland forest species.
