TROPOS 

These paintings were created after a trip to Kew Gardens in London. Since then, abstract shapes in nature have recurred in my work and have become an important inspiration behind my paintings. Color, like sound, has a phenomenological effect on our subconscious landscapes and informs our understanding of the world. My work often reflects the color and light of a certain place.
